Hi everyone! I recently had a 2nd shoot in the very nice location, Rentaloft in Antwerp. It reminded me of the 1st shoot I did there in November 2014 and I remembered I was going to post all the pictures online and explain the makeup I used :-) Woops, better late then never! I worked with 2 different photographers, a very nice couple, Kenneth and Esmeralda. They shot both colour and black and white pictures. The lovely model was Miss Mégane. B E A utiful I must say. Very nice to work with, really professional as well. I had a blast and the end result is stunning! We wanted to create this very sexy and sensual look, since it was a lingerieshoot including masks and angel wings. I did not want to go overboard on the make up. Eyes Mégane has a very rich brown eye colour so I wanted to use plum and purple colours to make her eyes pop. I felt like using a matte colour, I figured this would work best for this type of shoot. Glitter would make it more over the top and give it more of a party feeling. For the base I used a soft pink colour and in the crease I used a darker plum. As you can see I ended under the eyebrow with the darker colour but not fully touching it. Under the eyebrows I used a creme colour to have a bit of a highlight. I used the Zoeva 225 Eye blender brush. But any blending brush will do the trick. The make up pallete I used for this was: Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte You can find it online (http://www.beauty88.nl/make-up-palettes/oogschaduw/Makeup-Revolution-32-Flawless-Matte-Palette) for just 9,99 € !! This is a must have palette! Gorgeous colours, the pigmentation is amazing. To finish it all, I used fake eyelashes to give it that little extra *umph* Face I started off with the MAC Mineralize Moisture foundation NC20. I mixed it a little with a darker colour to match her skin tone. I used the Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush to apply it. This brush is very easy to use and to blend the foundation to avoid any stripes. Under hey eyes (and as a primer for her eyeshadow) I used the MAC Pro Conceal and Correct palette. It has 6 colours in it so you can mix and match to find the correct tone for your skin. I used the Zoeva 142 Concealer buffer brush to apply the concealer and to contour as well. To give her skin this nice matte finish I used the Catrice All Matte plus powder. To finish it all off, I used a soft pink blush to give her a sweeter look. Lips I was so glad to see Mégane has these beautiful lips I could work with. I did not want to give her a red colour but soften it a bit with a rose/pink colour. I used a bit of gloss in the middle of her lips for a bit of a shine. The lipliner was a shade lighter than her lipcolour. I hope you enjoy the pictures, I am very happy with the results :-) Love, VisaBie * xoxo Information on the people I worked with: Kenneth Vanmaele http://v-pix.smugmug.com/ http://www.facebook.com/vanmaele.kenneth Esmeralda Srton http://sarpics.smugmug.com/ http://www.facebook.com/Esmeralda.Sarton Mégane http://www.facebook.com/megane.roussel |
