What is your go to budget friendly item? Post it in the comments below :-) Love, VisaBie * Hi guys, today I want to show you my MAC lipstick and lip pencil collection. To be honest I did not use lipstick at all in the past until I came across this super addictive Facebook group called 'All about cosmetics'. This is a make up loving group and boy do these girls love their lipsticks ;-) Please give a warm welcome to my (still growing) collection: VIVA GLAM I have 3 shades: Viva Glam II - Viva Glam III - Viva Glam V
LIPSTICK 4 different sticks and 4 different finishes. I have an amplified, frost, matte and cremesheen.
Mineralize Rich The formula is supposed to feel “lightweight, non-sticky” with “maximum moisturizer and “long-lasting colour in a single stroke” I have the colour Touch The earth - light wood brown. I honestly do not know why I got this colour. I think it was a limited edition and I just had to have it... I think I'll use this in the fall. Pro Longwear Lightweight texture, creamy finish and comfortable longwear... It would last up to 12 hours and it helps the lip stay soft and hydrated. I have Soft Sell - Dirty neutral pink with pearl . This is a big succes! A great colour to wear every day. Lip pencil I must confess, I started using lip pencils after falling in love with Kylie Jenner her lips. I know, it's such a cliché but come on, her lips look amazing! I try to match the pencils to the lipsticks but sometimes I like to use the pencil by itself. I do need to use a primer or a cream or my lips look really chapped and they will feel super dry. At the moment I have 7 colours:
I guess I can say I am getting addicted to lipsticks (Thanks Facebook group!)
Can't wait to expand my collection. Next on my list is Candy Yum Yum... It looks so cute :-) Love, VisaBie * MAC Belgium website: click here Lipstick - 19 EUR Cremesheen - 19,50 EUR Mineralize Rich - 23 EUR Pro Longwear - 21,50 EUR Viva Glam - 19 EUR Lip pencil - 15 EUR Aloha and Welcome! It's me again Last Saturday I did the make up for a Butterfly shoot. The model had 2 different outfits and she brought some wigs which is great fun to play with :-) We decided to go for a fantasy type make up with pastel colours and a colourful lip to accentuate. To make everything softer we used a flower headband and we added some butterflies in her hair and on her skin. I used the following colours for her eyes:

On Monday we had our last class from the very talented Melissa. Theme of the class: facecharts. So I was totally not exited for this one, but I forced myself to go. I don't know why I was not positive, I just did not feel this 'facecharting vibe' because I find it so hard :-) I tried 1 before and it took forever. A good chart takes about 3 hours to complete. It took us 4 hours to do half a face. I can't imagine how long it will take to do my first complete chart. I'll post the picture once I completed the one I have to make for my final exam. Here are the results of my chart from class. What a difference with the chart I tried at home!! And I must admit: I had so much fun doing this. Can't wait to make more! Love, VisaBie *
Gorgeous model to work with! Next post will be some more pictures and a step by step on how to get this make up look Love, VisaBie * Hi everybody! I'm so excited about this post! Yesterday my awesome friend Gigi and I went to a MAC event in Hasselt. It was so much fun. It was by email invite only (how special did we feel) First thing I noticed is that although the store is not a PRO store, it was the biggest store from Belgium. At least there is a MAC store where you can move around without bumping in to everyone there. First let me say this: the guys and girls that work in the MAC Hasselt store are truly amazing! Friendly, helpful, funny and truly just nice people. They really made yesterday's event a really fun event to go to :-) It all started with a glass of bubbly (or juice) I was lucky enough to have Miguel all to myself for 30 minutes. Miguel is a MAC artists that you can find at larger, worldwide events (hello Fashionweek) He was going to put the focus on my eyes and lips. I asked for an everyday lipcolor but with that little extra umpfh. I also opted for fake eyelashes (well, duh!) He started with my eyes. I already had a base on it for the day: a light eyeshadow, cream with some glitters and my black eyeliner and mascara (which he said was a good base, yay) He took 4 different colors to work with. For my eyelid he used grey colors with a hint of green, also Forgery to highlight and on my lowerlashes he used a color with a hint of gold and brown. During this time he explained in detail what he was doing, which brush he was using and answering all my (silly) questions. For example: Q: 'How do you avoid having some of the eyeshadow drop on the face when putting it on? It's annoying when the face is already made up with foundation and powder and you have to start all over again?' A: 'Just start with the eyes. It's oldschool to start with the face first.' Alrighty then! After my eyeshadow he put on my lashes. I think he went for the 2lashes. I did not want them to be too long and something I could use for everyday if I wanted to. Here is the finished result from the eyes: the quality is iPhone quality! Then come the lips! First thing he said was that my lips are so dry. They are, they really are. I don't know why. I've always had this problem. So the first thing he put on was the Lip Conditioner. This conditioner is based on almondoil, shea butter and avocado extract. Very nice I must say. He let the conditioner do its thing for a while, after that he put on the Lip Primer and then he used the lip pencil Spice (pink cinnamonstick). Because 1 side of my lip is a bit higher than the other, he colored the outer part of my lip a little bit extra to give it the feel like I have perfectly shaped lips. He filled in the lips with the liner as well. After this, he put some of the lipstick on, but only in the middle to give it a sort of ombre effect, which according to him, is back in. He topped it all off with a little bit of gloss. Because no girl can ever go outside without some gloss on her lips. After the 30 min make up session it was time for nails! I honestly did not know that MAC had nailpolish. They said that the nailpolish had been out of the store for a while because they were perfecting the ingredients. And now they are back and better than ever! It's a super fast drying polish. How great is that. At first I was a bit sceptic: they do you nails, but how do you take your shopping bags home if you have to wait 20 min for it to dry? It took about a minute to dry. Truly amazing. I got the Midnight Sky color and added some sparkle on my ring finger Silver Dew. If this polish stays on longer than 2 days, I'm going to buy me some. All in all I must say this event was a smash hit! Lovely people, great tips, good pampering and we looked like a million bucks!
MAC Cosmetics: I am a huge fan! Next event, I'm there! Love, VisaBie * Visit the website for more information on the products they used: www.maccosmetics.be Hi everybody, today I would like to post something small about nails. Usually I have gel or acryl nails, but it's time to give it a couple of weeks of rest. My nails are so thin, fragile and broken. The reason I'd rather have fake nails is because my nailpolish chips so easy. You take your time to do your nails and usually after 30 min you bump into something and all your hard work was for nothing. Also due to the fact that my nails are so fragile, the nailpolish does not stay on as well as it used to. 2 days max... So I decided to try something new: the VINYLUX nailpolish. It's supposed to stay on for a week! 7 days of pretty nails? Bring it on!!! Also, the exposure to natural light should activate the Prolight technology. I hope it works. Since it's fall time I decided to go for a chocolate, coffee color. The color I have on is 124 SVELTE SUEDE. I actually really like this color for this time of the year. |
